ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3406) charging wattage
ASUS lists a 65W Type-C adapter for common UM3406 configurations. WattageFit estimates the lower threshold.
What charger should you use?
For the simplest setup, choose a standards-compliant USB-C charger whose relevant port can provide at least 65W when you want to meet this preset’s fast-charge / supply reference, then use a cable rated for the same path capacity. A larger charger is normally fine with standards-compliant USB-C charging because the device negotiates what it uses.
What happens below the target?
The 39W baseline is a conservative WattageFit estimate, not a manufacturer-published cutoff. The device may still charge below it, but behavior is less predictable. Between the baseline and the 65W target, charging can work but may be slower. Some regional configurations can ship with a different adapter.
Why the cable and port still matter
A charger brick's total rating does not guarantee the same power on every port. WattageFit compares the remaining shared charger budget, selected port limit, cable rating and preset target. The reported wattage is available path capacity — not a live measurement of what the device is actually drawing.
